The rules of use
Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Monti Games, ABN 52 253 846 298, a business registered in Australia ("we", "us", "our"), governing your use of Belote Pro (the "Service", at belotepro.com). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law that cannot be excluded.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is a social game for entertainment only: it is not gambling and offers no opportunity to win money or anything of monetary value. By using it you confirm you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
You may play as a guest or link a Google, Facebook, Apple or email account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping it secure, must provide accurate information, and may hold only one account unless we agree otherwise. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or the law.
3. Licence to use the Service
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own private, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. Virtual coins (gems)
- Coins (gems) are a limited, personal, revocable licence to virtual items for use inside the game — not money, property or a financial product.
- They have no cash value and are never cashable, redeemable, tradable, transferable or withdrawable for money or anything of monetary value.
- Buying coins is optional; free coins and free tables are always available, and you never need to buy coins to play.
- You do not own coins; we may change, expire, adjust or limit virtual items and their pricing where reasonably necessary and as permitted by law.
- Unused coins have no value outside the game and are forfeited when your account is closed or terminated for breach.
5. Purchases, pricing & taxes
Coin purchases are processed by Stripe; by buying, you authorise the charge for the bundle you select. Prices are shown before purchase, may be inclusive or exclusive of taxes (such as Australian GST or local VAT) as indicated, and may change over time. Coins are normally delivered to your balance immediately after payment is confirmed.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers) & digital content
Coins are digital content supplied immediately. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you would normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. However, by buying coins you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the coins are delivered to your balance. This does not affect your rights where the digital content is faulty or not as described.
7. Refunds
Because coins are delivered instantly, purchases are generally final. Nothing here excludes refunds or remedies you are entitled to under mandatory law — including the Australian Consumer Law and EU/UK consumer protections — for example where coins are not delivered, are faulty, or the Service is not as described. To request a refund you believe you are owed, contact [email protected].
8. Not gambling
Staked tables use virtual coins only. Coins cannot be bought back, cashed out or exchanged for money, credit or prizes of monetary value, and outcomes have no monetary consequence. The Service is not a gambling product and is offered for entertainment only.
9. Fair play & acceptable use
You agree not to: cheat or use bots, automation, exploits or unauthorised third-party software; collude; manipulate matches, coins or leaderboards; harass, abuse or threaten others; post unlawful, offensive or infringing content; or attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service. We may remove content, reverse balances or gains obtained through breach, and warn, suspend or close offending accounts.
10. Chat & user content
You are responsible for what you send through chat and other features and must have the right to share it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display your content for the purpose of operating the Service. We may moderate, filter or remove content and are not obliged to store or return it.
11. Intellectual property
The Service and all its software, artwork, sounds, text and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Except for the licence above, you receive no rights in them and may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our permission.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (such as Stripe, Supabase and our hosting/CDN providers) that have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their terms.
13. Availability & changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, or the whole Service, at any time, and may carry out maintenance. Where a change materially and adversely affects paid virtual items, we will act reasonably and as required by law.
14. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the law, to protect the Service or other users, or where we are required to. On termination for breach, your licence and any unused coins end without compensation, except as required by law.
15. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory law that cannot lawfully be excluded ("Non-excludable Rights"). Where we are entitled to limit our liability for breach of a Non-excludable Right, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to your Non-excludable Rights: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or goodwill, or for lost, expired or reduced virtual coins; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any law or third-party right, except to the extent caused by us.
18. Governing law & your local rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence (for example, EU or UK consumer law), and you may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
19. Disputes
If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected] — most issues are resolved quickly. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
20. General
If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor or affiliate. These Terms and the documents they reference are the entire agreement between us. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date above shows the current version, and we will notify you of material changes where required. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
